Cancelling vs. deleting

Cancelling an event keeps the page active but displays a clear 'Cancelled' banner. All guests are notified via email/text.

Deleting an event removes it entirely from your dashboard and the web. This is permanent.

Steps to cancel

Open your event page, click the three-dot (...) More Options menu in the top header, and select Cancel Event. You will be asked for a final confirmation before the notification is sent.
